Skin Remodeling/Tightening

* As people age, the effects of gravity, exposure to the sun, and the stresses of daily life simply cause the elastin and collagen of the skin to become weak. This weakness makes the skin have a loose or saggy appearance.

The technology in NIR Skin Tightening allows the near infrared light to target the collagen fibers in our skin causing them to “coil up” and contract, much like the fibers in our garments. When we place our garments in the dryer, the heat from the dryer allows our garments to shrink. This application of NIR light warms the skin to literally tighten and contract lax skin. Skin tightening and toning is a soothing treatment that optimizes and firm’s lax skin to the face, neck, or arms.

Results are cumulative and when a series of 6 treatments are given approximately every 3 weeks, a remarkable improvement is seen. This treatment is ideal for a midday getaway. Patients can almost “nap” during this relaxing 30 minute session.
